APRS, the Automatic Packet Reporting System, is an amateur radio based system that allows
operators to report real-time position and other types of data. Particuarly interesting
are position streams from high altitude balloons and other aeronautical projects. If you zoom
in on a track, you can use the maps perspective control to see its change in altitude as well as position.
